Types for the Philippines
The Philippines issues various types of visas, including tourist, business, and student visas. Consultancy support is available for tourist and business visas.
Visa Application Procedure (Tourist & Business)
Applications are processed by the Philippine Embassy in Dhaka. Submissions must go through accredited agencies only.
Required Documents (Tourist & Business)
Personal Documents
- Completed and signed the visa application form
- Passport valid for at least 6 months (with at least 2 blank pages)
- Two recent passport-size photos (2 x 2 inches, white background)
- Birth certificate / NID copy
- Visa request letter
For minors:
- Birth certificate
- Parents’ marriage certificate
- Copies of parents’ passports
If married to a Filipino:
- Invitation letter from spouse
- Copy of spouse’s passport
Professional Documents
- Businessperson: Trade license (renewal), 2 business cards
- Partnership: copy of business agreement/deed
- Limited company: memorandum of articles
- Business visit: company letter stating travel purpose
- Employee: Original NOC including company details, countersigning officer’s details, applicant’s designation, service years, plus 2 visiting cards
- Student: Student ID copy
Financial Documents
- Bank statement and solvency certificate (last 6 months, original with seal/signature)
- Company bank statement (for business visits)
- Proof of sponsor’s financial support (if applicable)
- Property/asset ownership documents (if available)
- Last year’s income tax certificate or e-TIN certificate copy
Travel Documents
- Confirmed round-trip air ticket
- Hotel booking confirmation
- Travel itinerary
Overseas Documents
- Tourist: Invitation letter with address in the Philippines, copy of inviter’s passport/status (if available)
- Business: Invitation letter addressed to the Philippine Embassy and the applicant, registration of business (both inviter and applicant)
- Meetings/seminars/study tours: Authenticated registration of the inviting organization
Visa Fee & Processing Time
- Visa fee + service charge: Tk 6,500 (translation/notary charges extra if required)
- Processing time: Up to 15 working days from submission
Interview Procedure
Applicants may be called for an interview within 5 working days after submission. On the interview date:
- Bring a valid ID and required documents
- Bags are not allowed inside
- The applicant will be escorted out after the interview
For Holders of Diplomatic/Official Passports
- Completed visa application form
- Note Verbale from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs
- Passport valid for at least 6 months beyond stay
- Two photos (2 x 2 inches)
- Visa fee: Gratis
Special Provision for Bangladeshi Diplomats
- Holders of valid diplomatic or special passports may enter the Philippines without a visa for up to 30 days
- Those assigned in the Philippines must obtain a 9(e) visa and accreditation from the DFA within 30 days
