Hong Kong Tourist & Business Visa Checklist

(Applicable for Bangladeshi Applicants)

❶ BASIC DOCUMENTS (Common for All)

  • Passport: Original passport with at least 06 months validity. (Include all previous passports).

  • Photo: Two (02) recent color photos (Size: 50mm x 40mm), white background, matte finish.

  • Bank Statement: Original bank statement for the last 06 months with bank seal and signature.

    • Note: Minimum balance should be BDT 300,000 to 500,000 per person.

  • Bank Solvency: Original solvency certificate from the same account.

  • Personal Identification: Clear copy of NID and Birth Certificate.

  • Tax Documents: E-TIN Certificate and Income Tax Return copy for the last 03 years.

  • Flight & Hotel: Pre-booked flight itinerary and confirmed hotel reservation in Hong Kong.

  • Visiting Card: 01 copy.

❷ FOR BUSINESS PERSONS

  • Trade License: Updated Trade License copy (If in Bangla, must provide English translation with Notary).

  • Company Pad: 02 copies of blank official company letterhead.

  • Memorandum of Articles: Required if the applicant’s name (MD/Proprietor) is not mentioned directly on the Trade License.

  • BIN Certificate: Copy of the Business Identification Number.

❸ FOR JOB HOLDERS

  • NOC (No Objection Certificate): Official letter from the employer mentioning designation, salary, and approved travel dates.

  • Office ID: Photocopy of the employee ID card (both sides).

  • Salary Proof: Salary Certificate or Pay Slips for the last 06 months.

  • Visiting Card: 01 copy.

❹ FOR STUDENTS

  • Student ID: Clear photocopy of the valid Student ID card.

  • NOC from Institution: Leave/Holiday certificate from the school, college, or university.

  • Parental Support: If applying individually, must provide father’s financial documents (Bank Statement, Solvency, NID, and Occupation Proof).

❺ FOR HOUSEWIVES

  • Husband’s Documents: Must provide the husband’s bank statement, solvency, and proof of profession (NOC or Trade License).

  • Marriage Certificate: English translated and notarized Nikkah Nama copy.

❻ FOR BUSINESS MEETING / VISIT (Additional)

  • Invitation Letter: A formal invitation from the Hong Kong company (must be on company letterhead).

  • Host Business Registration: Copy of the inviter’s Hong Kong Business Registration (BR) certificate.

  • Host ID: Copy of the inviter’s Hong Kong ID or Passport.

Processing Time

  • Duration: Generally takes 4 to 6 weeks as applications are often referred to the Hong Kong Immigration Department.
