Japan Sticker Visa Checklist

(Applicable for Bangladeshi Applicants)

1. Common Documents (All Applicants)

These core documents are mandatory for every applicant regardless of profession:

  • Passport: Original passport valid for at least 07 months with at least 2 blank pages. (Submit all previous/old passports if available).

  • Visa Application Form: Duly filled and signed by the applicant.

  • Photographs: Two (02) recent copies (Size: 2 inch X 1.4 inch). Must have a white background and be taken within the last 6 months.

  • Cover Letter: A personal letter detailing the purpose of the visit and travel dates.

  • Tour Program: A day-to-day itinerary of your stay in Japan.

  • Financial Documents: Personal bank statement for the last 06 months and a Bank Solvency Certificate (Original with seal and signature).

  • Flight Reservation: Copy of the airline ticket/booking slip (Round trip).

  • Accommodation: Hotel booking confirmation or proof of stay.

  • Invitation Letter: If you have a guarantor in Japan (otherwise not mandatory for pure tourism).

2. Profession-Based Additional Documents

Job Holders:

  • NOC: No Objection Certificate from the current employer.

  • Office ID Card: Photocopy of your official ID.

  • Visiting Card: Professional business card.

Business Owners:

  • Trade License: Updated trade license with English translation and Notary.

  • Company Pad: Two (02) copies of blank official company letterhead.

  • Tax Documents: TIN certificate and Tax Return copies.

  • Visiting Card: Professional business card.

Advocates / Lawyers:

  • Bar Council Certificate: One photocopy of the professional membership certificate.

  • Tax Documents: TIN certificate and Tax Return copies.

  • Visiting Card: Professional business card.

Doctors:

  • BMDC Certificate: Photocopy of the medical council registration.

  • Prescription Pad: A blank copy of your personal prescription pad.

  • Visiting Card: Professional business card.

Helpful Notes:

  • Visa Fee: Japan typically does not charge a visa fee for Bangladeshi citizens, though VFS service fees may apply.

  • Notary: Any document not in English (such as the Trade License) must be translated and notarized professionally.
